Pay:From $35 per hour depending on experience

A professional and loving family in Hendra, QLD are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their 2 girls (5 yr old girl and 1 yr old).

The days and normal hours are – 3 days per week

Wednesday – Friday 7.45am – 3.45pm
Days are flexible for the right candidate

• A nanny who is engaging, fun to be around but also nurturing, calm and patient.
• A nanny who can structure their day, follow the children’s routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children’s development.
• A nanny who values children’s safety, is trustworthy, reliable, adaptive and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.
• The role will mostly consist of taking care of the younger child as the older child attends school.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –

To care for the children
Follow the children's routine
Play and engage with the children
Take the children to activities, i.e. playground, walks and to the park/playgrounds
Light household duties – tidying and clearing, dishes, vacuum, mop, make children’s beds
Help prep/cook meals for the children
Children's laundry

The family’s expectations from their nanny are –

Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
Have a current Blue Card
Display strong communication skills and speak English
Child safety practices
Full driver’s license and clean driving record
Basic cooking skills and food safety
