Pay: $40 – $45 per hour depending on experience plus petrol and kms to be reimbursed

About the Family

A warm and welcoming family based in Lindfield, NSW is seeking a patient, kind and reliable nanny to care for their 7 yr old son.
The family lives in a convenient apartment close to the train station and local shops, making the role easily accessible. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and can support their son’s after-school routine in a calm and engaging way.

The Role

This is a structured after-school role supporting the child’s daily routine and helping the household run smoothly in the evenings.
A typical day may include:

School pick-up (located very close to home)
Grocery shopping for dinner
Assisting with homework
Engaging in play, reading and activities
Preparing dinner for the child
Light tidying and cleaning after meals

Household Duties

Preparing and cooking dinner for the child
Light household tasks
Tidying up after activities and meals

Ideal Candidate

The family is looking for someone who is:

Patient, kind and nurturing
Reliable and responsible
Enjoys engaging with children through play and learning
Confident assisting with homework
Organised and proactive

Requirements

3+ years childcare experience preferred
Valid Working with Children's Check
Current Fist Aid and CPR
Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is highly regarded
Confident cooking simple, healthy meals
Full Drivers Licence and own car preferred – School and activities are located very close to the home
