A fun loving and busy family in Balgowlah are seeking a gentle and nurturing nanny to care for their 2 boys (3.5 and 2 yrs of age), the family are soon to also welcome a new baby to the family (Feb 2025).
1 Afternoon per week 3pm – 7pm and also 1 full day per week 8.30am – 7pm
Flexible days/hours for the right candidate and can offer more afternoons if this suits the nanny ?
Initially the role would be to get use to the family and the boys and then once the new baby arrives more help will be needed.
An ideal nanny will be friendly, kind, calm and nurturing.
A nanny that is experienced in setting/holding boundaries and can engage and have fun with the children providing stimulating and creative indoor and outdoor activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.
The family are looking for a nanny who is reliaable, trustworthy and can form a lovely bond with their family and support Mum with the boys and help run the household.
Someone who is patient and has a genuine passion and love of children and enjoys supporting busy families.
Prior child care experience and or a medical background working with young children with these different age groups and caring for multiple children at once is highly advantageous for this role.
Start date: Oct 2024
Contract: 12+months Permanent/long term
Pay: From $35-40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are:- 2 and half days per week (Flexible – can offer more)

The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare or medical qualifications preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Able to Swim (The family have a pool)
- Comfortable with dogs (Walking not required)
- Non smoking
- Able to prepare and cook basic meals
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record (Can use family vehicle)
