A loving family in Bondi are seeking a calm and reliable Thai speaking nanny to assist in the care of their 6-month-old baby girl (Current Age).

An ideal nanny would be warm, calm and responsive. A nanny that is also friendly, happy and interested to actively engage in indoor and outdoors activities with the child which will aid in her growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable/punctual and is able to care for the child throughout the day and follow routines.

Native Thai speaking and prior nanny experience and or professional qualifications working with young babies and toddlers is highly advantageous for this role. Montessori style of education or knowledge is also highly favourable.

The family is looking for someone who is excited to form a lovely relationship with their daughter and stay with the family on a long-term basis.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –

  • To care for the child
  • Follow the child’s routine
  • Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the child’s development i.e. Read books, play games, listen to music, and converse in Thai.
  • Take the child out for walks/to the park /playground, activities etc
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the child
  • Nappy changes
  • Light household duties… e.g. tidy toys, clean up after meals, put dishes in the dishwasher, put items used for the day back in their place, etc.
  • Run errands occasionally

Start date: Mid-late February 2025 ideal (Slightly flexible)

Open to having someone start casually this year then moving to permanent

Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience

The days and normal hours are: – 3 Days

Ideally….

Monday 8am –4pm

Tuesday 8am – 4pm

Friday     9am – 1pm

Flexible days/hours for the right candidate – If the above don’t suit please let us know what you can do and will see if this can be accommodated.

There may be occasional opportunities for additional hours with prior arrangement.

The family’s expectations from their nanny are –

  • 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
  • Childcare qualification preferred but not essential
  • Young baby and toddler experience
  • Have a current first aid/cpr certificate
  • Have a current Working with Children’s check
  • Have a current Police Check
  • Display strong communication skills and speak native Thai
  • Non smoking
  • Basic cooking/prep skills
  • Up to date with all vaccinations including whooping cough
