Pay: 35/hr + 10% superA professional family in Box Hill, Sydney are seeking an experienced and loving nanny to assist in the care of their 6 month old son.

The normal days are: 2 days per week

• Monday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Wednesday: 10:00 pm – 5:00 pm

To have some flexibility with the above days would be advantageous as the parents schedules may change from time to time.

The family are seeking someone who takes initiative, values routines, and is kind, compassionate, and deeply committed to their child’s well-being. Someone who is open, honest, and willing to work collaboratively with them and plan age appropriate activities.

You will be required to drive the little one to planned activities and use your own car, where petrol costs will be reimbursed and a car seat will be provided.

The family have an older child who attends high school who does not require any care.

The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

• To care for the baby
• Follow the baby’s routine
• Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the baby’s development
• Take the baby out for walks/to the park/playground and other activities
• General tidying up after the baby and light household chores
• Prepare and cook meals and snacks

The family’s expectations from their nanny are:

• 2+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
• Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential
• Baby / toddler experience
• Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
• Have a current Working With Children’s Check
• Display strong communication skills and speaks English
• Non smoking
• Full drivers license and to own a car
