We are seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny to assist a professional family in Buderim, Sunshine Coast. The family have two girls though the care is mostly for the youngest child. (Children ages 1 and 4 years)
The nanny will be a gentle and responsive carer and is comfortable with following the children’s routines, needs and interests.. A nanny that has a genuine love of children and can dedicate their time to them both and enhance their learning and development on a daily basis.
The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible, patient , safe, reliable and is able to commit to the role on a long term basis and be highly invested in building a lovely relationship with the whole family.
The eldest child attends preschool though will be home in the school holidays.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- Care for the children
- Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)
- Cook/prep meals and snacks for the children and evening family meal prep/cooking occasionally
- Assist with light household duties -Keeping the main areas of the house tidy, kitchen tidy, dishwasher-packed/ unpacked, tidying of toys at the end of the day
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Long Term /Permanent Role
Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours – 1 day – 9 hours per week
Friday 7.30/8am – 4.30pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or worked in child care
- Child care qualification (Preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Blue Card
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking/vaping
- Up to date with all vaccinations
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record
