An ideal nanny would have a positive outlook, be kind, calm, patient and attentive. A nanny that is experienced in early childhood, open to engaging and interacting with the children, spending time outdoors, providing stimulating and creative activities and be confident with behaviour management and enforcing consequences. A nanny that is reliable, flexible, and honest and can follow routines and structure the afternoons/evenings. The family are looking for a nanny who has a passion for childcare and who will build a genuine and respectful bond with their boys and become part of their family dynamic.

 

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

• To care for the children
• Follow the children’s routines
• Daily pick up from respective schools and transporting children to after school activities
• Play and engage in age-appropriate creative activities to assist in the child’s development (including reading, dancing, singing, music, sports, fine and gross motor skill activities)
• Preparation of family meals
• Laundry and ironing for the children and generally keeping the main areas and surfaces of the home clean and tidy
• Occasional grocery shopping and running of errands
