Contract – Long Term

Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience

A professional and loving family in Claremont, Perth are seeking a nurturing and experienced mature nanny to care for their 2 children (2 yr old girl and 5 yr old boy).

The days and normal hours are – 3 Afternoons per week

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 2.30pm – 5.30pm

Days/hours are negotiable for the right candidate

A nanny who is engaging, fun to be around but also nurturing, caring, calm and patient.

A nanny who is independent and pro active, can follow the children’s routines and be understanding of young children’s needs.

A nanny who values children’s safety, is trustworthy, reliable, adaptive and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –

To care for the children
Follow the children’s routine
Pick up children from school
Play and engage with the children
Take the children to activities if required
Light household duties
Help prep/cook meals for the children
Children’s laundry

The family’s expectations from their nanny are –

Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
Childcare qualification (Preferred)
Have a current first aid certificate
Have a current Working with Children’s check
Display strong communication skills and speak English
Child safety practices
Full driver’s license and clean driving record
Basic cooking skills and food safety
Full Drivers licence and own car preferred
