Haberfield, NSW Part Time Nanny

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Term: Minimum 12 months/long term role
Pay: $40/hour

Days and Hours: Part Time 2 days

Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Extra adhoc days/hours will be available

We’re seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for a 3.5 month old baby boy in Haberfield, NSW. The role involves providing gentle, attentive, and developmentally/age appropriate care as the child grows through infancy and into toddlerhood.

About You:

You’ll be someone who is:

Warm, outgoing, and friendly
Strong communicator and comfortable giving honest feedback
Organised and able to manage light household duties while providing exceptional care

Typical Day and Duties:

Full care of baby (feeding, changing, soothing, playing, etc.)
Daily strolls and engaging sensory play
Outings/Activities (As the baby gets older)
Light household tidying (dusting, vacuuming, baby laundry)
Grocery errands (milk, bread, etc.)
Meal prep for baby once he begins solids
Keeping a clean and safe environment

Expectations:

5+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
Childcare qualifications preferred
Young baby experience (under 6 months old)
Have a current first aid certificate
Have a current Working With Children’s Check
Display strong communication skills and speaks English and a bonus if you also speak Italian
Non smoking
Whooping cough vaccine
Able to cook for the baby (As needed)
Full drivers license and clean driving record (To drive family vehicle)
Must be comfortable with pets in the home (no pet care needed)

The family are excited to welcome a nanny into their home and to have someone who will become an integral part of their son’s early years and feel like an extended member of their family.
