Hamilton, QLD Part Time Nanny
Contract length: 12 months +
Pay: $35-40 per hour (Negotiable for the right candidate and experience)
A loving, professional family in Hamilton, QLD are seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to assist in the care of their 6 month happy daughter.
The normal days are: 2 days per week, 21 hours
- Monday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
- Tuesday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
An upbeat nanny who has plenty of experience caring for infants and who will play and engage with fun age appropriate activities to help with her development, would be great for this family.
A typical day will involve sole charge care of the baby, including feeding, settling, playtime, and daily routines. Tasks will also include light laundry, meal prep, keeping the kitchen tidy, and general household maintenance. Outdoor walks and engaging activities are encouraged to support the little ones development.
The family is looking for someone who can become an extension to their family, and who can have a positive impact to their family life.
Prior experience/professional qualifications working with young babies is highly advantageous for this role.
The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows:
- To care for the baby
- Follow the baby’s routine
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the baby’s development
- Take the baby out for walks/to the park/playground etc
- General tidying up after the baby and light household chores
- Prepare and cook the child’s snacks and meals and sometimes prep family evening dinner when time permits
The family’s expectations from their nanny are:
- 5+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Young infant experience
- Full drivers licence
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working With Children’s Check
- Display strong communication skills and speaks English
- Non smoking
