Lane Cove Part Time Nanny - ref LLL183 - Little Lovelies Nanny & Babysitting Agency

A fun loving and busy family in Lane Cove are seeking a bubbly and energetic nanny to care for their 4 year old boy.

A nanny that is experienced in engaging and having fun with the child, providing stimulating and creative indoor and outdoor activities which will support the child’s learning milestones and development.

The family are looking for a nanny who is patient, calm under pressure, reliaable, trustworthy and can form a lovely bond with their child.

Someone who has a genuine passion and love of children and enjoys supporting busy families.

Knowledge of teaching/tutoring reading, maths and science would be great but not essential.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –

To care for the child
Follow the child routine
Pick up the child at preschool
Play and engage age appropriate creative activities/outings to assist in the children’s development
On the full day to take the child out to museums, parks, walks, swimming etc
Prep and cook children’s meals/snacks
Light household duties ie- tidy food and kitchen post meals. Also tidy up toys and if time allows to put through a load of washing
Grocery Shopping and running errands (occasionally)

Start date: Early Oct 2024

Contract: 12+months Permanent/long term

Pay: $40 per hour depending on experience (negotiable)

The days and normal hours are:- 5 days – 17-18 hours per week

Afternoon Hours

Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri

5.30pm – 7/7.30pm

Plus

1 Full Day

Wed

8am – 5pm

The family’s expectations from their nanny are –

3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
Childcare qualifications preferred (not essential)
Have a current first aid certificate
Have a current working with children’s check number
Display strong communication skills and speak excellent english
To be fit, healthy and active
Non smoking
Able to prepare and cook basic meals
Full drivers licence required and clean driving record (Own car)
