A professional and loving family in Lilyfield, NSW are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their two girls aged 3 months and 4.5 years old.
Someone experienced with providing stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children’s development. A nanny who is soft, gentle, and genuinely cares for the children.
Young baby experience is essential for this role.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Pick up from school/preschool (just a short walk from home)
- Afternoon activities and play
- Light household duties – tidying and clearing
- Help prepare/cook an evening meal
- Laundry
Start date: ASAP
Permanent / long term
Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are – 2 days per week
Monday and Tuesday 12pm – 6pm
Extra hours available at the weekends from time to time – adhoc basis
Mum is currently on maternity leave and will return to work in October and from there the hours will increase to a full day likely 8am – 6pm.
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny or childcare experience
- Childcare qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Experience caring for young babies
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working With Children check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Basic cooking skills
