A loving, professional family in Manly QLD are seeking a kind, fun, and nurturing nanny to assist in the care of their active and curious 8 year old boy.
The family is looking for someone who is honest, kind, and reliable, and able to pick up their child from school, assist with homework, and care for him during the afternoon/evening.
Licence, clean driving record and own car required.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the child
- Follow the child’s routines
- Play and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist and compliment growth and development
- Assist with light household tasks
- Assist with snack/meal preparation and basic cooking
- Assist with homework
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Permanent / Long Term
Pay: $35 – $40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are:- 3 days – approx. 12.5 hours per week
Tuesday 2pm – 7.30pm
Wednesday 2pm – 5.30pm
Thursday 2pm – 5.30pm
*Flexible earlier start time to include light household duties if desired.
*Same hours required during school holidays.
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Experience with ADD/ADHD beneficial
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non-smoker
- Licence, clean driving record and own car
- Pet friendly (cat)
