A beautiful family in the Northern Beaches suburb of Manly Vale are seeking an experienced, fun and pro-active nanny to care for their two happy daughters aged 5 year old and 5 months old.

The nanny’s responsibility will be to care for the baby during the day whilst the oldest is at school, by help keeping her stimulated with walks in the pram, inside and outside play, songs and games and other age appropriate learning activities.

The eldest daughter will be required to be collected from school and either taken home or driven to after school activities.

Mum works from home so is able to care for the baby whilst the nanny is caring for the eldest daughter whilst out of the house.

The nanny’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows

  • To care for the baby for during most of the day
  • To care for the eldest, after school
  • Follow both of the children’s routine
  • Cook for the family (Preferred not essential)
  • Assist with some light household duties i.e. general tidying and laundry

Start date: ASAP

Contract:   6mths with the option to extend to a permanent position

Pay:             $30 + per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Note:          Full Drivers Licence required (To drive family vehicle)

The days and normal hours over 4 days – 34 hours

Monday       9.30am to 6pm

Tuesday       9.30am to 6pm

Wednesday 9.30am to 6pm

Thursday     9.30am to 6pm

Flexibility on days and hours may be given to the right candidate

The family’s expectations from their nanny are –

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny experience
  • Have a drivers licence and be a confident driver
  • Have age appropriate experience
  • Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Have a current working with children’s check number
  • Display strong communication skills
