Mansfield, QLD Part Time Nanny

Start date: ASAP – Jan Start (Flexible)
Contract length: 12 months + long term preferred
Pay: From $35 per hour (Depending on experience)

A professional family in ]Mansfield, QLD are seeking a an experienced and nurturing nanny to assist in the care of their 9 month old baby.

Normal days: 2 days per week
Days & hours are:
Ideally Mon and Tue though flexible for the right candidate..
9:00 am – 4:00 pm

An ideal nanny would be warm, caring and responsive. A nanny that is also friendly, happy and interested to actively engage in indoor and outdoor activities with the baby which will help with growth and development.

The family is looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy, responsible and reliable and is able to care for the baby throughout the day and follow routines.

Prior experience/professional qualifications working with young babies is highly advantageous for this role.

Parents/family will be close by and Mum will pop in to breastfeed the baby.

The carers responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

To care for the baby
Follow the baby's routine
Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the baby's development
Take the baby out for walks
General tidying up after the baby and clearing of toys/activities etc.
Occasionally prepare meals and snacks and able to assist with introducing solids

The family's expectations from their nanny are:

3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
Childcare qualifications preferred
Young baby experience-]comfortable feeding, bottles, naps and settling etc
Have a current Child/Baby first aid certificate and CPR (eg tiny hearts course)
Have a current Blue Card
Display strong communication skills and speaks English
Fit, healthy and active (Plenty of stairs to walk up and down with the baby)
Non smoking
Full drivers license
