A professional and loving family in Moggill, QLD are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their 4 children aged 2, 4, 7 and 9 years.
A nanny who can structure their day, follow the children’s routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children’s development, and help keep the household running smoothly.
A nanny who has strong personal values, is trustworthy, reliable and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long term basis.
Experience with toddlers and caring for multiple children of different ages at once is essential for this role.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routines
- Drop off/pick up older children from school (walking distance for bus stop)
- Play and engage with the children
- Light household duties – including tidying and clearing, vacuuming and mopping
- Family laundry
- Help prepare/cook meals for the whole family
Start date: Early September 2024
Contract length: 12+ months, long term preferred
Pay: $35 – $40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are – 3 days per week – 33 hours per week
Tuesday 7am – 6pm
Wednesday 7am – 6pm
Thursday 7am – 6pm (occasionally a 2.30pm finish)
The days and normal hours are – 3 days per week
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7.30am – 4.00pm
At times, and with notice, the family will require later hours and / or additional days.
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny or childcare experience
- Childcare qualification (preferred)
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Blue Card
- Display strong communication skills and speak english
- Able to prepare and cook healthy nutritious meals
