A lovely family in Beaconsfield are looking for an experienced, active, fun loving and nurturing nanny to become part of their family. The care will be for 2 very active and outgoing girls (10 and 8 yrs of age)  and also their old 8 month old baby girl.



The family are looking for a nanny with a ‘can do attitude that will adapt and fit in with the whole family. Someone that is calm but firm and will engage and play with the children.  Prefer someone that has a sporting interest as both the 2 older girls play sport.

The care will will mainly be for the baby and 2  of the days will be assisting with pick ups for the 2 older children and taking them to sports training, tutoring and helping them with their home work.

The nanny’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows 

  •  Follow the children’s established routines
  • Take children to sport, activities and tutoring when required
  • Assist with pickup from school for the 2 older children
  • Assist with homework for the 2 older children
  • Plan fun and age appropriate activities
  • Cook nutritious meals for the children
  • Cook for the family occasionally
  • Assist with some light household duties when time permits i.e. general tidying up after the children, general cleaning
  • Assist the family with any ad hoc errands that may need to be done from time to time

Start date:  November 2020 (potential earlier start for the right candidate)

Contract:    Permanent ongoing- long term position

Pay:            From $30 per hour depending on experience inclusive of super

The days and normal hours over 3 days  – 24 hours

Wednesday      9.00am – 5.00pm

Thursday          9.00am – 5.00pm

Friday               9.00am – 5.00pm

Occasional overnight stays may be required and also the odd weekend

 The family’s expectations from their nanny are –

  •  Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny experience or worked in child care
  • To have a childcare qualification is preferred
  • Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • Have a current working with children’s check number
  • To be a non-smoker
  • To be fit, healthy
  • Calm , Fun loving and a ‘Can do attitude’
  • Full drivers licence and clean record
  • To have a sporting interest (not essential)
  • Play a musical instrument (not essential)
  • Speak  a second language (not essential)
