Nanny – Castle Hill, NSW

Pay: $45 per hour
Hours and Days
- 3 afternoons per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs ideally)
- Flexibility with days and potential to increase/decrease hours for the right candidate
About the Family
A warm, thoughtful family is looking for an experienced and engaging nanny to care for their two boys (Aged 6 & 4).
They enjoy spending time outdoors, being active, and connecting as a family. Having no extended family nearby, they are looking for a nanny who can become a consistent and trusted part of their support system.
The Role
The nanny will play a key role in creating a smooth, calm and engaging afternoon routine.
Responsibilities include:
- Arriving early afternoon and completing light household tasks (e.g. making beds, prepping lunchboxes)
- School pick-up for the eldest child
- Preschool pick-up for youngest child
- Bringing the boys home and supervising afternoon tea
- Engaging the boys in play, conversation and activities
- Providing attentive care until parents return home from work
Household Duties
- Making beds
- Preparing lunchboxes
- General light household tasks to support the afternoon routine
Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for someone who is:
- Warm, engaging and genuinely enjoys spending time with children
- Experienced and confident in after-school care
- Reliable and consistent
- Able to build strong connections and trust with the boys
- Curious, communicative and happy to engage in conversation and play
- Proactive and able to take initiative
Requirements
- 3+ years experience working as a nanny or in a childcare related role
- Full Driver’s licence and comfortable with driving the family vehicle for pick ups
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Non Smoker
