A loving family in Moorooka, QLD are seeking a warm, caring, and reliable nanny to help care for their daughter, aged 10 months. With no close family nearby, the family are looking for someone who can become a trusted, supportive presence in their lives—a professional carer who will genuinely enjoy building a bond with their baby girl and supporting their little family.
This is a consistent, part-time position ideal for an experienced nanny who enjoys caring for babies and supporting a young family.

Days and Hours:

Mondays: 4.00pm – 7.00pm

Wednesday: 4:00pm – 7:00pm

Thursday: 4:00pm – 7:00pm

Some flexibility in the start/finish times and also option for just 2 days per week if this suits the nanny better

Ideal Nanny:

You are:

• Warm, positive, easy-going, and empathetic
• Experienced with young children, especially babies
• Trustworthy and reliable, with strong communication skills
• Someone who enjoys forming lasting connections with the families you support
• Comfortable with pets and happy to help with light household tasks

Typical Day and Duties:

• Collecting in and folding laundry
• Putting dishes away
• Preparing simple, healthy family meals
• Caring for child after she arrives home: feeding, playing, and bathing
• Light errands (e.g., grabbing essentials from Woolworths, chemist, or post office if needed – all within 5 minutes)
• Walking the dog (desirable, not essential)

🐾 Pets

The family have a gentle 15kg labradoodle, so you’ll need to be comfortable with dogs.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
• Childcare qualifications preferred
• Young baby experience
• Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
• Have a current Blue Card
• Display strong communication skills and speak English
• Non smoking
• Full drivers license and own car (For reliability and punctuality)
