Part-Time Nanny – Morningside, QLD

Start Date: 12 April 2026
Contract: Permanent position (until primary school ideally)
Pay: $35–$45 per hour (depending on experience)

A warm and loving family in Morningside, QLD is seeking a nurturing and confident nanny to care for their 1-year old baby girl three days per week. This is a long-term position for someone who is genuinely committed and looking to build a lasting relationship with a family through the early years.

Days & Hours

Tuesday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Wednesday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Days and start times are flexible for the right candidate.

The Role

This position focuses primarily on caring for the 1-year-old and supporting her development in a calm, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities include:

Full care throughout the day
Age-appropriate developmental play
Preparing basic meals
Following routines for feeding, naps and play
Light housework related to the child
Child’s laundry

Driving is not currently required; however, there may be opportunities for outings (e.g. swimming or library visits). A vehicle can be provided if needed.

The Ideal Nanny

The family is looking for someone who is:

Warm, nurturing and attentive
Confident caring for young babies and toddlers
Experienced and reliable
Calm, proactive and organised
Non-smoking

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a nanny or in childcare related role
Previous young baby experience
Childcare qualifications preferred
Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Current Blue Card
Professional references
