Part-Time Nanny – Northbridge, NSW

Start Date: Mid June 2026
Contract Term: 8–9 months, with the possibility of ongoing employment
Pay: From $40 per hour

5 days per week
Hours: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

About the Family

A friendly and welcoming professional family based in Northbridge, NSW is seeking a caring and trustworthy nanny to care for their 10-month-old daughter.
Both parents work from home and are looking for a nanny who can confidently support their daughter's daily routine while creating a nurturing, engaging and safe environment for her to learn and grow.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who enjoys working with babies and appreciates building a genuine connection with both the child and family over time.

The Role

The primary focus of the role is providing attentive and loving care for a happy and growing 10-month-old girl while supporting her daily routine and developmental milestones.
Responsibilities may include:

• Engaging in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
• Supporting naps, meals and daily routines
• Reading, singing and encouraging early learning
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks for the child
• Taking the child on walks and outings where appropriate
• Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment
• Providing regular communication and updates to parents

As both parents work from home, the family is looking for someone who is comfortable working in a shared-care environment while also being confident working independently.

Household Duties

Childcare will always be the priority; however, during nap times or when appropriate, assistance with light household tasks would be appreciated, including:

• Tidying toys and play areas
• Cleaning up after meals
• Child-related laundry
• General light household tidying

Requirements

• 3+ years previous nanny or childcare experience preferred
• Childcare qualifications highly regarded
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Strong English communication skills
• Non-smoker
