Nanny – Part Time – Buderim, Sunshine Coast, QLD

Buderim – Monday Nanny Role
Start Date: Late Dec or Jan 2026 (Flexible for an earlier start for the right candidate)
Contract Term: Ongoing employment
Pay: From $35 – 40 per hour

A loving family in Buderim, QLD is seeking a warm and gentle nanny who brings an unconditionally caring approach to support their two daughters, aged 2 and 5 years. The role will primarily involve caring for the youngest child during the day while her older sister is at school.

Day & Hours: 1-2 days per week
Mondays: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Second day available if the nanny is looking for an extra days work (Flexible on day of the week)

Responsibilities

Providing engaged, nurturing care for the youngest child at home
Planning age-appropriate activities that support learning, play, and emotional regulation
Preparing and cooking meals for the child
Tidying up after meals, activities, and general play
Letting the friendly Groodle outside for toilet breaks
Over time: potential school drop-off/pick-up for the eldest and community outings with the youngest

Requirements

3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
Childcare qualifications required
An allied health or primary education university student would be highly regarded
Must be comfortable with pets
Current Blue Card
Current First Aid and CPR certificate
Nanny to have a full drivers licence and their own car – driving may include school drop-off/pick-up and local outings (park/playgroups)
