Neutral Bay – 3 Day Nanny Role

Start date: Early Jan 2026
Contract term: Ongoing / Long term
Pay: $40 – $44 per hour, inclusive of tax and super

Days & hours: 3 days per week

Wednesday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Thursday: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

*Flexibility appreciated as additional hours may be available if mutually agreed upon

About the Role

A warm, experienced, and highly organised nanny is sought by a professional family to provide exceptional, holistic care for their 3 year old little girl.
The ideal candidate will be engaging, proactive, and focused on creating a stimulating and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

All aspects of childcare, including feeding, bathing, and maintaining general hygiene
Planning and implementing age-appropriate, educational, and fun activities (both indoors and outdoors)
Preparing nutritious, home-made meals and snacks for the child
Tidying the child’s rooms and play areas, and managing the child’s laundry
Preschool drop-offs and pick-ups required for additional days in January if possible
Maintaining open communication with parents regarding development and daily activities
Light household duties including family laundry, tidying main living areas, running errands, and grocery shopping
Using positive, gentle parenting strategies for discipline
Car journeys may be required using the nanny’s car (subject to correct car seat fittings) or family car if required
Ensuring the child’s safety and supervision at all times

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny or childcare experience
Childcare qualifications highly regarded
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid Certificate
Confident driver, full driver’s licence and own car preferred, but not essential
Non-smoking
Comfortable with one or both parents working from the home office
Comfortable with pets (a small dog in the home but no care required)
