A warm and loving family based in Rouse Hill, NSW is seeking a caring, calm and engaging nanny to provide attentive before and after school care for their two children aged 3 and 5 years.
This is a beautiful long-term opportunity for a nanny who values creating a nurturing, structured and joyful environment while supporting a busy household. The family is looking for someone who will become a steady and positive presence in their children’s daily lives.
Days & Hours
5 days per week
Monday to Friday:
Spilt shift role..
- 6:30am – 8:30am
- 2:30pm – 6:30pm
The Role
The nanny will be responsible for creating a smooth, calm and reliable routine that supports the children’s wellbeing and helps the household run seamlessly during key transition times.
Morning Responsibilities
- Gently assisting the children to wake and prepare for the day
- Supporting dressing, breakfast and school/daycare readiness
- Providing a calm, positive and unhurried start to the day
- School/daycare drop-off
Afternoon Responsibilities
- School/daycare pick-up
- Preparing and supervising afternoon snacks
- Supporting homework where appropriate
- Facilitating a balanced afternoon including downtime, play and age-appropriate responsibilities
- Managing transitions from school to home
- Providing reassurance and guidance through big emotions
- Engaging the children in safe, developmentally appropriate activities until parents return
Consistent communication, sound judgement and a nurturing presence are essential so the children feel secure and supported during these important parts of their day.
Driving Requirements
- Driving is required
- Full driver’s licence and own car essential
- Transporting children to school and activities as needed
The Ideal Nanny
The family is seeking a nanny who is:

- Experienced supporting toddlers and preschoolers

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong English communication skills
- Non-smoker
- Driver’s licence and own car required
- Confident swimmer
