Pay: $45/hour + petrol allowance at .88c per km when driving with the child

Hours and Days:

 

• Tuesday: 2:30 pm – 8:30 pm
• Wednesday: 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm
• Thursday: 3:00 pm – 7:30 pm

We’re looking for a caring and responsible nanny to support a lovely family in Newport, NSW, caring for one child aged 9 years old. The role is part-time across three afternoons each week and will suit someone organised, warm, and proactive.

The family needs help with after-school routines, including school pick-up, assisting with homework, and taking the child to scheduled activities. On Tuesdays, this includes drop-off and pick-up at a coaching centre. Light cooking and laundry duties are also part of the role, as well as letting the small dog outside and helping with occasional walks.

 

About You:

The ideal nanny will be:
✔ Responsible and caring
✔ Outgoing and confident with school-aged children
✔ Proactive with after-school routines and homework
✔ Comfortable with pets and light housework
✔ A confident, safe driver with their own car

 

Responsibilities and Typical Day:

 

• School pick-up
• Assist with homework
• Drop-off/pick-up from activities (Tuesdays)
• Light meal prep and laundry
• Letting the dog outside and helping with short walks
• General support to keep routines running smoothly

 

Expectations:

 

• 2+ years of nanny or childcare experience
• Current First Aid certificate
• Working With Children Check
• Non-smoker
• Full driver’s license and own car required
