A kind and loving family in North Strathfield are seeking a calm and nurturing nanny to care for their happy and content twins, 2 years.
A nanny that is reliable, respectful and honest and can follow routines. Experience working with twins is advantageous for this role.
The role will consist of mostly caring for the twins. Additionally, some light household duties, cooking for the family, picking the twins up from daycare, evening routines (bath, dinner & getting the children ready for bed) family laundry (if time allows) and contributing to the smooth running of the household.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the twins
- Follow afternoon/evening routines
- Play and engage age appropriate creative activities to assist in the children’s development
- Day care pick up (short walk or can drive family car)
- Preparation of meals and snacks for the children
- Cooking of family meals
- Outdoor play
- Assist with some light household duties
- Family laundry
- Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy
Start date: Early April 2024
Contract: Long term permanent
Pay: From $35-40 per hour inclusive
The days and normal hours are:- 4 days – 16 hours
Monday – Thursday – 2pm – 6pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 2 years experience working with young children
- Experience working with twins preferred but not essential
- Toddler experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English.
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Must be able to swim
- Non smoking/vaping
- Automatic Drivers Licence
