Part-Time Nanny Carlisle, WA

Contract Term: Permanent, long-term
Pay: $35 – $45 per hour, depending on experience
A warm and welcoming family in Carlisle are seeking a friendly, reliable, and experienced nanny to provide morning care for their 3-year-old son. This is a long-term role ideal for a nanny who enjoys supporting young children with routines, independence, and school readiness.
Days & Hours – 4 days per week
Monday to Thursday
- 7:00am – 10:00am (flexible for right candidate)
Additional hours may be offered from time to time, including occasional after-school pickups, evening, or weekend care by mutual agreement.
About the Role
- Morning routine support, including waking, dressing, and preparing for the day
- Preparing lunches and snacks (no dietary requirements) and family meal preparation if time allows
- School drop-offs and occasional pickups from after-school care – driving required. Future transport to activities may be required.
- Light household tasks related to the child, including:
- Cleaning up after breakfast and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Folding and putting away the child’s laundry
- Making the child’s bed and tidying his room
- Tidying toys and books
The child enjoys being involved in household tasks, and the family encourages participation to build independence and confidence.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Full driver’s licence and own car required
- Non-smoker
