Part-Time Nanny Chippendale, NSW
Start: 20th October 2025 preferred but some flexibility for right candidate
Pay: $35 – $40 per hour depending on experience
Contract: 1–2 years /permanent long term
A warm and loving family in Chippendale are seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their baby boy, who will be 8 months old at commencement.
The family is looking for someone gentle, affectionate, and safety-conscious, with a sunny personality and genuine love for working with babies under 12 months.
Days and Hours
- 2 weekdays (specific days to be discussed with the nanny) 8.30am -5.30pm
Ideally looking to start with 1 day a week and increase to two days from Jan onwards ( Open to discussion with the nanny)
About the Role
- Provide attentive care, bottle feeding, solids introduction, nappy changes, and settling for naps
- Engage the baby in age-appropriate play, singing, story time, and outdoor walks with the pram or carrier
- Maintain a present and engaged approach (no screen time for baby; minimal phone use during care)
- Light household support such as tidying after baby’s meals and play, and end-of-day clean-up
- Optional: short walks for the family’s friendly cavoodle
Ideal Candidate
- Warm, loving, and affectionate with a positive, sunny personality
- Gentle and safety-conscious with strong experience caring for infants under 12 months
- Present and engaged with children
- Comfortable working in a home where a parent is often present
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of nanny or childcare experience with young babies
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Police check
- Non-smoking
