About the Family

A warm and loving family based in Naremburn, NSW is seeking a nurturing, organised and experienced nanny to support their two children, aged 11 months and 5 years.
Originally from the UK, this kind and supportive family does not have extended family nearby. Dad works full time and Mum is returning to work three days per week following parental leave. They are looking for a mature, calm and reliable nanny who can use initiative, communicate clearly and build strong, trusting relationships with their children.

Days & Hours

3 days per week

• Wednesday: 7.00am – 9.00am & 3:00pm – 6:00pm
• Thursday: 7.00am – 9.00am & 3:00pm – 6:00pm
• Friday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Occasional extra hours if desired. Opportunity to increase to 4 days per week in future if agreed. Some flexibility in the hours.

The Role

The nanny will support the children through their afternoon routine, with the 1-year-old being the primary focus for much of the shift, as the 5-year-old attends after-school care.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Walking to drop off and pick-up from the local daycare
• Morning and Afternoon meal preparation
• Supervision and care of both children
• Nappy changes and attentive toddler care
• Preparing simple, healthy children’s dinners
• Keeping play areas tidy and organised
• Occasional light homework support for the 5-year-old

The family is seeking someone confident in caring for both a toddler and a school-aged child, and who can manage their differing needs with patience and ease.

Role Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a nanny or in a childcare-related role
• Proven experience caring for multiple young children
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working With Children Check and Police Check
• Strong communication skills and fluent English
• Non-smoker
