An ideal nanny would be experienced, calm, respectful and a positive role model for the children.  A nanny who enjoys engaging, is great at multi-tasking and can build a lovely bond with the whole family.

The Carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows:-

• Laundry- washing, folding, helping children put their washing away
• Dishwasher- unpacking and stacking
• Dinner- preparation and cooking, serving children
• Limited washing up – only what won’t fit in dishwasher after dinner cooking
• Ensuring children’s towels washed weekly, bedding fortnightly
• Occasional additional snack baking if time permits
• Collect children from school, take to activities as scheduled
• Supervise/assist homework as required
• Ironing if time allows — children’s ironing as a priority
• Occasional minor shopping/post/other request, or meeting of trades on site
• Unpack & check weekly shop, if delivered during shift
• Occasionally offered additional hours for care of sick children/holiday cover/pick up sick child from employer’s work, if available
