An ideal nanny will be nurturing, calm, patient and have good attention to detail. The family would like the nanny to build a special bond with the little boy and play and engage age appropriate activties. Also would like the nanny to have the ability to make nutritious and healthy meals. Experience of introducing infants to solid meals and independent milk drinking. Previous knowledge of G tube will be a plus but willingness to learn G tube management and pump feeding is acceptable. Must have recent experience as a nanny and baby experience. A nursing background would be advantageous though not a requirement for the role.

The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows 

• Care of the child
• Keeping child in established routines
• Play and engage with the child
• Prepare and cook simple meals for the family and child
• Light household duties – Clearing and keeping the kitchen and main living areas tidy.
• Child’s laundry
• Family laundry if time allows
