Days and Hours:

2 days per week – 8.30am to 5.00pm
Family is flexible with days, either Monday & Tuesday (preference) or Tuesday and Wednesday

A loving family in St Peters, Sydney, is seeking a highly experienced, professional, and caring nanny to support their 2 children (2 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy).

The family is looking for a nanny who is:

Your Responsibilities & Typical Day

A typical day will vary but may include:

Engaging Activities – Planning and leading fun, educational activities that spark creativity and learning.
Taking the children on fun outdoor adventures or pre-planned activities (family covers all costs).
Naptime – Assisting with 2-year-old’s nap (typically 12:30-2:30 PM) while following the family’s routine.
Meal Prep & Organisation – Preparing and organising healthy snacks and lunch for the 2-year-old.
School Pick-Up – Picking up the older child from school at 3:10, 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive (driving preferred but not essential, a car is provided).
Light Child-Related Housework – Helping with tidying play areas, changing bed sheets, and folding kids’ laundry to keep things organised and comfortable

Requirements

• 3+ years working as a nanny or in child care
• Early Childhood qualification preferred
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current Working With Children’s Check.
• Basic cooking skills – able to assist with simple snacks, baking, and meal prep for the children
• Non-smoking.
• Full Drivers Licence – No need for own car; a family vehicle is provided.
• Up-to-date with COVID-19 and flu vaccinations

Additional Information

• The family has a friendly 8kg Boston Terrier (14 years old) who mostly sleeps in the sun.
• The mother works from home but respects the nanny’s autonomy in managing the children’s routine.
• The family values kindness, independence, and creating a nurturing environment for their children.
