A loving family in Wahroonga are seeking a nurturing, caring and organised part time nanny to assist with the household and take care of their three children aged 4, 6, and 8 years old.
This position is suited for someone who is calm, gentle, organised, enjoys engaging with children, can adapt to varying schedules, and can help support Mum with the busy household.
Reliability, great communication skills, honesty, kindness, and professionalism are also valued.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- Supervise and engage with the children in age-appropriate activities
- Conduct light housekeeping duties, including washing, dishwashing, putting clothes away, general tidying up, laundry, and changing bed sheets
- Light meal preparation and cooking
- Grocery Shopping
- Running errands
- Homework assistance
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 6 months initially with the potential to extend long term
Pay: From $45 – $50 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are – 3 days – Up to 15 hours per week
Flexible days/hours for the right candidate
Ideally the days would be:
Monday 12pm – 4/5pm
Thursday 12pm – 4/5pm
Friday 12pm – 4/5pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Must have a minimum of 3 years nanny/household manager or childcare experience
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Cooking skills
- Non-smoking
