Our Melbourne-based nannies are all very experienced caring for children and are either currently work as a permanent nanny, temporary nanny, a teacher, or as a daycare worker.

Our temporary nannies and evening babysitters are available for a minimum of three hours a day for one-off or fixed-term bookings of up to three months.

Unlike many other nanny & babysitting services, we do the hard work for you and ALL of our nannies are interviewed face to face and thoroughly vetted through an extensive process of qualification, background and reference checks before being considered for a position with our agency. Our Lovely Nannies have a formal childcare qualification and experience or at least two years paid experience working with children, as well as meeting these additional Australian Nanny Association requirements:

Melbourne Temporary Nanny Booking Process

Complete the form ensuring to include as much detail as possible

Submit the form & Pay the booking fee
4.
Once we have checked to see who is available on the date/s you have booked, you will be assigned one of our fully vetted carers who has age-appropriate experience
5.
Your carers profile will be emailed to you and the carer will contact you to introduce herself
6.
For multiple-day bookings, we will always try and send you the same carer where possible
7.
On the rare occasion, we are unable to source you an available carer, we will refund your booking fee
Our thoroughly vetted temporary nanny services and evening babysitters are available across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Gold Coast, Northern NSW, Hobart and Sunshine Coast.  They can come to your home, event venue, Airbnb, holiday house or hotel. We’re a preferred partner for hotel babysitting services with many of the leading hotels.

Our childcare support can help from early morning to late into the night. We can also help with overnight nanny requests.

Nanny Booking Fees & Rates in Melbourne

Booking Fees

Our booking fees are charged per day, and are paid prior to searching for a carer.

On the rare occasion we are unable to source an experienced carer for you, we will refund your daily booking fee minus a 20% search fee.

We do require at least 4 hours notice to organise a carer for you.

All the carers we arrange for you are experienced with caring for children and are fully vetted by our team. We interview them and speak to their previous childcare related employers.

All carers have a valid Working With children Check and First Aid Certificate.

Babysitter and Temporary Nanny hourly rates

Our Little Lovelies Babysitter and Temporary Nanny hourly rates are charged in addition to the booking fee.

You pay the hourly rate / wages directly to your babysitter or nanny by bank transfer or cash at the end of the day / week.

As independent contractors, our Carers are responsible for their own financial affairs and regulatory obligations.

We require for each shift to be for a minimum of 3 hours.

Specialist Carers

$45.00 per hour – Baby Night Nanny – A bed with clean sheets will need to be provided for the nanny to rest in whilst your baby sleeps. If the bed is not located in the babies room then a monitor will need to be provided for the nanny.

$200.00 – Overnight Nanny –  flat rate for an over night nanny (when not caring for a baby) from 10pm to 6am. Any additional hours booked outside of these hours will be at the normal rate of $35.00 per hour. If your child wakes during the overnight booking then the night nanny rate of $45.00 per hour will be applicable. A bed with clean sheets will need to be provided for the nanny to sleep in.

Unfortuntaley we are unable to assist with overnight requirements if the parents / caregivers will be travelling interstate or overseas.

Cancellation Charges

Once your booking has been confirmed via a confirmation email from the Agency, our booking fee is non-refundable.

Confirmed booking cancellations shall incur a cancellation fee charged as follows:

  • $75 when cancelled less than 12 hours prior to commencement;
  • $100 cancelled less than 4 hours prior to commencement;
  • If the booking is cancelled with less than 1 hours notice then the nannies full wages will be charged

Cancellation fees are to paid directly to the carer. She will notify you of her bank details of where to transfer her payment.

Our cancellation policy is in place to protect nannies, their time and their ability to earn an income.
Our cancellation policy helps us have a pool of nannies in Melbourne, and across Australia that are willing and able to work with families, and even commit to last-minute babysitting appointments because they know that their time is respected and protected.
