Days & Hours: Wednesdays, 7:30am–5:30pm, approximately 10 hours per week. The family is currently finalising their schedules, so the hours may need to be adjusted.

About the Family

A lovely family in Engadine is seeking a mature, experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their three young boys: a three year old toddler and nine month old twin boys.
The family is looking for someone who is confident managing the needs of both babies and toddlers, with the ability to provide attentive, safe and engaging care. Their eldest son is sensitive and imaginative, so they would love a nanny who has a gentle approach while also being comfortable setting clear, consistent and age appropriate boundaries.
This role would suit an experienced nanny who enjoys imaginative play, outdoor activities and supporting children’s emotional development in a warm, respectful environment.

Role Responsibilities

Providing attentive, nurturing care for a three year old and his nine month old twin brothers.
Planning engaging, age appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity and development.
Supporting imaginative play and helping the toddler develop positive social skills.
Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for all three children.
Encouraging outdoor play in the garden whenever the weather permits.
Supporting the toddler with toilet training and following the family’s approach consistently.
Following the babies’ feeding, sleep and daily routines.
Preparing simple, healthy snacks and basic lunchbox food as needed.
Keeping the children’s spaces clean and tidy.
Assisting with the children’s laundry where time permits.
Limiting screen time in line with the family’s preferences.
Potentially taking the children on outings to parks or other activities when transport arrangements allow.

The Ideal Nanny

The family is looking for someone who is:

Experienced and confident: Has substantial experience caring for babies, twins and toddlers, and can comfortably manage the needs of three young children.
Warm and nurturing: Understands the importance of emotional connection, patience and helping children feel safe and supported.
Gentle yet consistent: Respects the family’s gentle parenting approach while confidently maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.
Playful and imaginative: Enjoys getting involved in creative play, outdoor activities and engaging with children at their level.
Safety conscious: Provides attentive supervision, particularly when caring for twins alongside an active toddler.
Patient and emotionally aware: Understands that children may need space when upset and can respond sensitively to their individual needs.
Reliable and communicative: Follows through on commitments, communicates openly and works collaboratively with the parents.

Requirements

5+ years previous nanny or early childhood experience
Relevant childcare qualifications are required, along with excellent references and demonstrated experience caring for babies and toddlers.
Working with children's check
Current First Aid
Non Smoker
Full Drivers licence and own car

The family is looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys working with young children and can confidently balance the needs of twin babies with those of a sensitive, active toddler.
