Parenting Approach & Family Values
The family is close-knit and loving, and places a high value on connection and spending time together. They enjoy playing, being active and participating in activities as a family.
The children are encouraged to spend plenty of time outdoors, with a large yard available for play. Screen time is limited to approximately 30–45 minutes per day and is restricted to selected children's programs at appropriate times.
The family also follows the Ellyn Satter Division of Responsibility approach to feeding. They encourage a positive relationship with food, where all foods are considered good in moderation, and discussions about bodies and food should always be positive and respectful.
Consistency with the family's routines, values and parenting approach is important.
Pets
