Part-Time Nanny – South Brisbane, QLD
Start Date: End Sep/Early Oct (Earlier Start time available for the right candidate)
Contract Term: 12 months ongoing/permanent
Pay: $35–$45 per hour depending on experience
Days: 2 days per week
Hours: Wednesday and Thursday, during work hours until approximately 5:00pm
Additional hours may be required at weekends occasionally

The Role
A lovely family in Brisbane, QLD is seeking an engaging, nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their son(16 months) two days per week while Mum is working. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies/toddlers and takes pride in providing a high standard of care.
The role will involve creating a fun and stimulating day for their little one, with plenty of outings, outdoor play and age-appropriate activities. A typical day may include a morning outing around South Bank, lunch, nap time, a visit to Mum for a feed, followed by an afternoon at the playground. The family values open communication and is looking for someone who will build a trusting relationship with both the children and parents.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing warm, attentive and engaging care for the toddler
- Planning and enjoying age-appropriate outings around South Bank
- Taking the child to activities such as Toddler Time and the playground
- Preparing and serving the child's lunch
- Supporting the child's nap routine
- Visiting Mum for a feed around 2:00pm
- Engaging the child in active outdoor play
- Preparing simple food for the child as required
- Communicating openly with parents about the child's day and routine
- Providing occasional weekend care when required due to Mum's shift work

Requirements
- Childcare qualifications are required
- 3+ years previous experience caring for babies/toddlers is essential
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent references
- Additional languages are welcome but not essential
- Sporting abilities are a bonus but not required
