Contract Term: 12 months
Pay: $35–$40 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate

Days: 4 days per week

Days & Hours

Tuesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Wednesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am – 9:00am
Friday: 6:00am – 8.00am

There may also be a need for some afternoon care or an earlier start on one day each week, depending on the parents' work schedules. The family is happy to work together with the successful nanny to establish a consistent arrangement once work schedules are confirmed.

Live in option Available - The family does have a granny flat available if the nanny is looking for a live in role - If this is of interest please ask for more details.

The Role

This lovely family is seeking a friendly, genuine and caring nanny to provide support with their two young children.
The role will primarily focus on caring for their 10-month-old baby on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while also assisting with daycare and kindergarten drop-offs and pick-ups as required.
The successful nanny will be warm, engaging and confident caring for both a baby and preschool-aged child. The family is looking for someone who will become a trusted part of their household and provide reliable, nurturing care.
There is some flexibility around the exact hours, with the family happy to work collaboratively with the nanny as their work schedules are finalised.

Role Responsibilities

Providing attentive and nurturing care for the 10-month-old baby
Caring for the younger child for two full days each week
Assisting with kindergarten/daycare drop-offs and pick-ups
Supporting the children's daily routines
Engaging the children in age-appropriate play and activities
Taking the children outdoors when appropriate
Encouraging activities such as swimming, bike riding and ball play
Preparing meals and snacks for the children
Assisting with children's laundry and general tidying
Helping with occasional household jobs as required
Providing reliable communication with the parents

Requirements

A childcare qualification is required
3+ years previous professional experience caring for babies and young children
Current Blue Card
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Excellent references
Non Smoking
Full drivers licence and own car preferred
