Part-Time Infant Nanny – North Rocks, NSW

Pay: From $40 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: 2 days per week
Days & Hours:
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Role
A warm and welcoming family in North Rocks is seeking a nurturing, experienced and reliable nanny to provide loving care for their young baby in a long-term role. The successful nanny will become an important part of the family, providing attentive one-on-one care while supporting the baby's development through responsive interactions, play and a consistent daily routine.
The role will centre around the baby's feeding, naps, play, tummy time and outdoor walks, while creating a calm, safe and stimulating environment. As the baby grows, the role will naturally evolve to include outings to parks, libraries, playgroups and other age-appropriate activities. During nap times, the nanny will assist with light baby-related household duties.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing loving, attentive care for the baby
- Following and supporting the baby's daily routine
- Bottle feeding and settling for naps
- Changing nappies and attending to the baby's daily needs
- Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
- Reading books, singing songs and encouraging language development
- Supporting tummy time and sensory play
- Taking the baby for walks and outdoor adventures
- Planning stimulating activities as the child grows
- Washing and sterilising bottles
- Tidying play areas and the baby's belongings
- Keeping the nursery and baby areas organised
- Maintaining open communication with the parents regarding the baby's day, routines and development
Household Duties
Light duties related to the baby, including:
- Washing bottles
- Tidying play areas
- Organising the baby's belongings
- General baby-related tidying during nap times

Requirements
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- 3+ years previous experience caring for young infants is essential
