Part-Time Nanny – Pascoe Vale, VIC

2 days per week
Tues and Thurs 8.30am - 5pm
About the Family
A warm, friendly and fun-loving family based in Pascoe Vale is looking for a caring, trustworthy and easy-going nanny to join their family and care for their gorgeous 12-month-old daughter.
Mum works from home and is looking for someone who is confident taking the lead with her daughter's day-to-day routine, while also bringing plenty of energy, playfulness and personality to the role.
The family would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around little ones and isn't afraid to get down on the floor, be a little silly, sing loudly, make funny faces and embrace all the fun that comes with caring for a curious one-year-old!
This is a lovely opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine connection with both the child and family and become a trusted and valued part of their lives long-term.
The Role
The family is looking for someone who can balance being responsible and nurturing with having a playful and relaxed approach. Someone who can confidently care for their daughter, while also making her days fun, exciting and full of little moments of joy.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating fun and age-appropriate games and developmental activities
- Getting involved in play, reading, singing, dancing and plenty of silly moments
- Supporting naps, meals and daily routines
- Preparing and serving meals and snacks
- Taking the child out for walks and age-appropriate outings
- Exploring the neighbourhood — dog spotting is a particular favourite!
- Creating a safe, happy and stimulating environment
- Supporting the child's development and emerging milestones
- Providing parents with regular updates throughout the day
As Mum works from home, the family is looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside a parent while also being confident and capable of taking the reins and working independently.
Household Duties
Childcare will always be the priority; however, during nap times or when appropriate, assistance with light household tasks would be appreciated, including:
- Tidying toys and play areas
- Cleaning up after meals
- Child-related laundry
- General light household tidying

- Comfortable working alongside Mum, who will be home during the day
Ultimately, they're looking for someone who will provide wonderful care for their daughter while also bringing a bit of fun, laughter and personality into her days.
Requirements
- 3+ years previous nanny or childcare experience preferred
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Non-smoker
This Role Would Suit
Someone who is warm, nurturing and genuinely loves being around young children, with a fun and playful personality to match. An energetic and creative nanny who enjoys getting down on the floor, singing, dancing, making silly faces and finding new ways to keep a curious little one engaged would be a great fit. The ideal person will also be confident and responsible, able to take the lead with the daily routine while working comfortably alongside Mum, who works from home.
