Pay: From $35–$45 per hour plus entitlements, depending on experience

- Tuesday: 12:30pm–8:00pm
- Thursday: 12:30pm–8:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am–4:30pm

The Role
This lovely, busy family in Balgowlah, NSW are seeking a warm, caring and genuinely passionate nanny to become a trusted and much-loved part of their family.
The role will initially focus on caring for the family's two young boys, supporting their afternoon and evening routines, while also helping Mum as the family prepares to welcome twin baby girls in October.
Once the twins arrive, flexibility will be key. Mum may be caring for the twins while the nanny takes the lead with the boys, or the nanny may assist with the newborns while Mum spends time with the older children. The successful nanny will be confident moving between different responsibilities and working collaboratively with the parents.

Role Responsibilities
- Collecting the children from school/daycare using the family car
- Providing warm, attentive and engaging care for the children
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities including outdoor play, playground visits, reading, LEGO, crafts and imaginative play
- Supporting the children's emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Preparing healthy family dinners
- Preparing lunchboxes for the following day
- Managing bath and bedtime routines
- Supporting the children with their afternoon and evening routines
- Assisting with the care of the newborn twins as required
- Working alongside Mum and Dad to maintain consistent routines
- Helping create a calm, happy and organised home environment
- Adapting responsibilities depending on the family's needs each day
- Taking the children to activities and outings as required
Household Duties
The nanny will assist with light household duties, including:
- Folding and putting away washing
- Ironing
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas
- Keeping the kitchen tidy after meal preparation
- Preparing lunchboxes
- Cooking the evening family meal
- Running occasional short errands
- General tidying related to the children and family

Requirements
- 5+ years previous experience caring for young children is essential, with experience caring for babies/newborns highly regarded, particularly twins or multiple young children.
- Childcare qualifications are ideally preferred
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Excellent references
- Non Smoking
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record A family car will be provided for school/daycare pick-ups, activities and outings.
