A busy, professional family based in Enfield, NSW is seeking an experienced, organised, and reliable nanny and household manager to support their family and care for their two children, aged 14 months and 6 years.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys combining high-quality childcare with household management and takes pride in helping a busy home run efficiently. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, proactive, and highly organised, with the confidence to take initiative and balance childcare responsibilities alongside comprehensive household duties.
Days & Hours
3 days per week (initially)
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- The family hopes to increase the role to 4–5 days per week for the right candidate.
- Occasional evening and weekend care will be required with advance notice.
- The successful candidate will also be required to travel with the family on holidays and occasional work trips to Melbourne, approximately every eight weeks for up to one week at a time.
Typical Day
Each day will involve caring for the family's youngest child while the eldest attends school, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, preparing nutritious meals, assisting with school pick-ups and homework where required, and ensuring the children's routines are maintained.
When childcare duties allow, the nanny will take responsibility for managing the household, ensuring the home remains clean, organised, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
The successful nanny's responsibilities will include:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care while following the children's established routines
- Planning and engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
- Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the family
- School and activity drop-offs and pick-ups as required
- Assisting with homework and supporting the eldest child's learning
- Managing the day-to-day running of the household, including:
- General cleaning and upkeep of the home
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and maintaining living areas
- Kitchen cleaning and organisation
- Family laundry and ironing
- Changing bed linen and towels
- Tidying and organising common areas
- Monitoring household supplies and advising when restocking is required
- Assisting with grocery shopping and household errands

- Experienced, reliable, and trustworthy

- Able to balance childcare and household management responsibilities with excellent time management
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a nanny, with proven long-term nanny and household management experience
- Demonstrated experience caring for both infants and school-aged children
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to update)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
