Hours: Guaranteed 42 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Days & Hours
- Monday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
The family is broadly looking for coverage during business hours and is flexible around the exact start and finish times depending on the baby's routine, activities and daily needs. Some additional hours may be required from time to time.
The Role
A lovely family in Wahroonga, NSW is seeking a warm, easy-going and experienced full-time nanny to care for their baby girl (Aged 12 months old). They are looking for someone who is nurturing and patient, while also being professional, reliable and confident in taking initiative.
The ideal nanny will genuinely enjoy caring for babies and be happy to become a trusted and valued part of the family's routine. The role will involve providing attentive, responsive care, supporting the baby's development and routines, preparing age-appropriate meals as she begins solids, and keeping her environment organised and tidy.
The family would ideally love someone who can drive and assist with activities when required. A family car can be provided for activities if the nanny does not have their own suitable vehicle.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for the baby
- Supporting baby's daily routine, including naps, feeds and age-appropriate activities
- Engaging the baby through play, books, outings and developmental activities
- Taking the baby to activities such as swimming and Gymbaroo as required
- Preparing simple, nutritious baby meals
- Supporting baby-led weaning and age-appropriate food preparation
- Following the family's preferred approach to introducing solids and baby nutrition
- Children's laundry and keeping baby clothing organised
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Keeping the kitchen and baby's areas clean, tidy and organised
- Assisting with grocery shopping and occasional errands
- Communicating openly with the parents about the baby's routine, development and day

Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years previous professional experience caring for babies is highly desirable
- Childcare qualifications are preferred, although the family is open to an experienced nanny without formal qualifications
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Excellent references
- Strong understanding of infant care, routines and development
- Full drivers licence and clean driving record
