Part-Time Infant Nanny/Mothers Support – Kedron, QLD
Start Date: 10 August 2026
Contract Term: 8+ months, with the potential to extend into a long-term role
Pay: $40 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: 3 days per week
Days & Hours:
- Tuesday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
- Wednesday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
- Thursday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
The Role
This lovely family in Kedron, QLD is seeking a warm, experienced and reliable nanny/mother's support to provide nurturing care for their 3-month-old son. The successful nanny will play an important role in supporting the baby's daily routine while creating a calm, safe and engaging environment that encourages healthy development.
The role focuses on providing attentive infant care, including feeding, nappy changes, tummy time, age-appropriate play and following the baby's established routine. The nanny will also assist with light household duties related to the baby, ensuring his care and wellbeing remain the priority at all times.
Mum is currently on maternity leave and is looking for a supportive nanny to work alongside her while she adjusts to life with a young baby. The successful candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively with Mum at home, offering an extra pair of hands while also being confident to care for the baby independently when needed. The family is looking for someone who is flexible, proactive and enjoys building a warm and trusting relationship with both parents and their little one.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing loving and attentive care for the family's 3-month-old son
- Preparing bottles for the day
- Bottle feeding and burping
- Changing nappies
- Recording bottles, feeds and nappy changes
- Engaging the baby in tummy time and age-appropriate developmental activities
- Reading, singing and interacting with the baby throughout the day
- Following and maintaining the baby's routine
- Settling the baby for naps
- Sterilising and cleaning bottles
- Preparing the baby's food when age appropriate
- Baby laundry as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment for the baby
- Communicating openly with the parents about the baby's day and development
Household Duties
Light duties related to the baby, including:
- Cleaning and sterilising bottles
- Preparing bottles
- Baby laundry if required
- Preparing food for the baby when appropriate
Pets
The family has one friendly dog and one cat.
No pet care is required.

Requirements
