A professional and loving family in Fitzroy North, Victoria are seeking a calm, nurturing and active nanny to care for their 8 yr old boy.
A nanny who can work with the child’s routine, is active and happy to go for walks or out to the park. A mature nanny who is also happy to set and be strict on boundaries.
Ideally a nanny with an interest in teaching to encourage the child to read and work on his maths skills.
The family is looking for a reliable and trustworthy nanny that can form a special bond with their child and become a part of the family.
The nanny must be comfortable with at least 1 parent working from home
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To supervise the child
- Follow the child’s routine, engage and play
- Pick up from school
- Take to after school activities, swimming, soccer and play at the park or go for walks etc
- Assist with homework
Start Date: 5th Feb 2024
Contract: 12+ months – Long term permanent
Pay: Negotiable Note: Full drivers licence and own car required
The days and normal hours are – 3 Afternoons per week
Days and hours negotiable for the right candidate
Most days the nanny will only be needed till 7.30pm
During school holidays, nanny may be requested to work longer hours (ie. full days instead of half days depending on their availability)- The pay will revert to an hourly rate on the longer days.
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years nanny or teaching experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak good english
- Full Drivers Licence and clean driving record (Own car)
