A loving, professional family in Coorparoo are seeking a positive, nurturing, and responsible nanny to assist in caring for their happy and inquisitive 8 month old little girl.
The family is looking for someone who is honest, safe, and reliable who is able to provide loving care throughout the day while they are at the office or working from home.
Their loveable and friendly Cocker Spaniel would also enjoy a regular walk.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the child
- Follow the child’s routines
- Play and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist and compliment growth and development
- Assist with light household tasks including laundry, unpacking the dishwasher, cleaning toys and vacuuming play areas, and general tidying
- Assist with meal preparation
Start Date: 19th Feb 2024
Contract Length: 6 months with the possibility to extend
Pay: $35 p/h
The days and normal hours are:- 2 days – 16 hours per week
Monday and Tuesday 8am – 4pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Have experience with children under 1 year of age
- Experience introducing solid foods beneficial
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non-smoker/vaper
- Up to date with all vaccinations
