An ideal nanny would be experienced, warm, and loving. A nanny that is active and creative and genuinely interested in engaging in open ended play and learning, and coordinating daily activities to promote education, growth, and development. Someone happy to teach life skills, independence, and encourage engagement in everyday tasks and chores in a fun and positive way.

The family is looking for someone who is honest, safe, and reliable and able to transport and accompany their son to organized activities as well as providing care throughout the day while they are at the office or working from home. There would also be the opportunity if desired to accompany the family to their vacation home on the Gold Coast some weekends and on seasonal holidays from time to time.

The role would include being proactive in assisting with the smooth running of the household when required, for example: running simple errands, preparing family dinners, and carrying out household duties to keep the home neat and tidy as part of the nannying duties.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –

• To care for the child
• Follow the child’s routines
• Have experience with oxygen or willing to learn
• Play and engage in age-appropriate, day care style activities to assist in development
• Transport and accompany the child to organized activities and on outings to the library, park and shops
• Assist with household tasks including laundry, ironing, making beds, floors, and general tidying
• Cook family dinners
• Taking their 3kg fluffy toy Cavoodle out on trips with the child
• Run errands and grocery shop
