A loving, active, professional family in the Clifton Hill area are seeking a bright, bubbly and proactive nanny to assist in caring for their engaging and outgoing two year old toddler.
The ideal nanny would also be energetic, creative, nurturing, patient, calm and would proactively plan and engage in activities to promote the child’s growth and development.
Experience with allergies and intolerances or the willingness and ability to learn quickly is preferred.
The family also have a much-loved dog who may also need occasional walking and feeding.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the child
- Follow the child’s routine
- Plan, play, and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in development
- Driving and accompanying the child to activities
- Assisting with light household duties including laundry, and general tidying for the child
- Grocery shopping and food preparation for the child
Start Date: Mid to late April 2024
Contract Length: 6 months with the opportunity to continue
Pay: $35 – $40 per hour plus entitlements, depending on experience
The days and normal hours are:- 4 days – 40 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 8:15am – 6:15pm
With occasional weekend coverage from time-to-time
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3+ years experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification preferred
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- Non smoker/vaper
- Up to date with all vaccinations
- Full Drivers License required and own car preferred
