A fun loving and busy family in Freshwater are seeking a gentle and nurturing nanny/mothers helper to care for their three girls aged 4, 2, and a new born baby.
A nanny that is experienced in engaging and having fun with the children providing stimulating and creative activities which will support the children’s learning milestones and development.
The family are looking for a nanny who is reliable, trustworthy and can form a lovely bond with their family and support Mum with the busy afternoon pickups and evenings (dinner, bath, bedtime routines). Someone who has a genuine passion and love of children and enjoys supporting busy families.
Prior experience with the different ages groups and caring for multiple children at once is highly advantageous for this role.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Help with daycare/preschool pick ups
- Play and engage in age-appropriate creative activities to assist in the children’s development
- Prepare and cook family meals
- Light household duties i.e. folding/hanging washing, light kitchen cleaning, tidy of play/living areas and children’s bedrooms. Any extra assistance to help Mum out would be greatly appreciated.
Start Date: End of April
Permanent/long term role
Pay: $40 per hour (depending on experience)
Note: Full driver’s licence and own car preferred
The days and normal hours are:- 3 days – 15 hours per week
Mon, Tues, and Thurs 2.30pm – 7.30pm
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- 3+ years’ experience as a nanny/mothers helper or working in childcare
- Have a current First Aid certificate
- Have a current Working With Children check
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Able to Swim
- Nonsmoking
- Able to prepare and cook basic family meals
- Full driver’s licence and own car preferred
