The role will consist of helping the Mum get the girls ready in the morning, taking out for a morning activity and assisting with routines, meal prep and the smooth running of the household. Mum will pop out on errands and to appointments throughout the day.
The family is looking for a nanny that can build a special bond with their children and stay on a long term basis. Also a good fit for the family is someone who prioritises health and wellness and recognises the importance for this for children.
The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows –
- To care for children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Take children on outings to parks/playground, activities etc
- Play and engage age appropriate activities to assist in the children’s development
- Able to help with basic meal prep/cooking
- Light household duties ie clearing/tidying throughout the day
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 6 months with the possibility of extending long term
Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are – 1 day – 8 hours per week
Saturday 8am – 4pm
More hours may become available in the future
The family’s expectations from their nanny are –
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
- Childcare qualification (Preferred not essential)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Current Blue Card
- Display strong communication skills and speak English -To speak a second language of French would be ideal(Not essential)
- Ability to cook/prepare basic nutritious family meals
- Non Smoker
- Up to date with all Vaccinations
- Full drivers license and clean driving record (Preferred)
